New 2012 BMW 6 Series is available in market with new design, offers in two body shapes: convertible and coupe both are developed with turbocharged engines, larger wheels, and new sharper looks

New 6 series is revamped with its design which is being marketed in 2 trims: 650i and 640i trims both are available either as a convertible or a coupe.

Engine

Both models are equipped with dominant engines such as 640i trim is coupled with a turbocharged inline six 3.0-ltr, which produces 315-hpand 332-lb feet of torque and the engine is mated with standard 8 speed automatic gearbox and rear wheel drive system is standard on this trim.

According to BMW estimates the 640i can accelerates 0-60 mile per gallon in a seconds, which faster than its previous model.

The 2012 650i equipped with twin turbo 4.4-ltr V8 engine that gives max output power up to 400-hp & 450-lb feet of torque. The engine is mated with 8 speed automatic gearbox along with manual control shift, which is standard on this edition. Rear wheel drive is standard but it also available with all wheel drive that is optional on this.

Coming to interior the 2012 6 Series has been developed with high class of materials, includes cockpit-centric design, 10.2-inch color display, and many more. Two passengers can easily accommodate in this vehicle but rear seat is only adjustable for adults if you are on short distance trip like restaurant etc. Convertible trim have been developed with massive 12.3 cubic feet.
